Wow! This just proves how incredibly self-centered and lazy Fat Albert Haynesworth has become that he can't pass this test that a 47 year old former football player that hasn't trained, and DOESN'T MAKE $100 MILLION can.

That's football money though.
Not begrudging him for the money he makes. I'm begrudging him because we pay him that much money and he can't do the job.
If I give a guy $100 Million, he better do whatever the hell I tell him to do. The bare minimum is passing this freakin' test.
$100 Million dollars means you don't feel pain. You perform.

Well, I doubt that he will get paid the $115 million that he signed for.

I remember seeing that video a while back not long after the Bears drafted him. But Urlacher and Peppers are just freaks of nature. There is no way guys that big should be able to move that fast.
This Keith Traylor interception is a classic, and the highlight made the rounds on TV and the internet. This embarrassed Traylor and he showed up the next season considerably smaller than he was before.

Well he is in a no win situation, unfortunately for the Redskin fans, he was never going to be a factor any way, his strength and career was not built around the 3 / 4 defense so this is it for him. If he does poorly - which is expected - he will be on the bench and eventually let go in a year or two maybe this is a player who knows his limitations, unfortunately for him, fans believe that once you make a certain amount of money you must be proficient at whatever position you are forced to play, now that he has a knee injury.............
Looks like another non-playoff year in Washington, at least he will be a worthy distraction.

Wow! You made that assessment based on the performance of one guy out of 53?

No, I made that assumption based on:
1. New coach
2. Poor receiving corp
3. New quarterback
4. New offensive
5. New defensive scheme which the bulk of players are not familar with
6. Veterans who might not like the way the point is being made, how will they react.
My point is that while folks are focused on one player, points 1 to 5 above are still valid and not being looked at.

Eagles fan? :P
No need to justify my assumption, massive changes have been made during the off-season, a new coach and staff have to put their stamp on the team, usually take a year or so. Regardless of the coaching, the lack of talent on the offensive side of the ball has not changed much, the defensive make over is now an added hurdle to climb.
As for being an Eagles fan, suffice it to say that McNabb ain't no hog, regardless of how long we have been on the out-side looking in, really need no more incentive to push for us to beat the Eagles, definately no way to treat a player who did and gave his best for his team.

You can't expect Washington to win the East, can you? No way they get past Dallas and the Giants. A wild card would be a stretch considering how the NFC is looking.
But weirder things can happen.
As for Golic, good for him. In Haynesworth's defense he is a big big dude who is much stronger than Golic and who holds alot more weight than him. But agreed, as an ex fball player I feel like anyone who can play, can pass the test.

He simply does not want to play for the Redskins. That or maybe he doesn't want to do the camp.
He could absolutely pass this test if he wanted.
I actually did the test today and it's more difficult than you think. I consider myself a fit individual (regular running and lifting) and while I beat the time by a few seconds, I was incredibly winded. I'm very certain that Haynesworth can pass this.

I'd say AH can pass if he wanted to. He doesn't want to play in a 3/4 and he knows if he makes enough waves they'll release him and he'll get picked up by another team one that will play a 4/3.

Quoting SW733 (Reply 9): The guy is an idiot. I hope he never plays again. I know he will, but one can hope...he's just no good for the game, for the fans, for anyone.
My last memory of Fat Albert was his face stomping of Andre Gurode (sp?) back in 2006. If Judge Goodell was in charge instead of Tagliblow he would have been benched the entire season, and not 5 or 6 games.
