Hello everyone,
this is presumably a question for the Swedish and Norwegian a.netters. I'm currently working out a route from Stuttgart to Tromsø for my better half and hope to put in a scenic detour of some kind. One of those might be taking the Malmbanen from Luleå to Narvik (and then a Hurtigruten ship to Tromsø). Alternatively, she could also fly to Kiruna and then hop on the train. She will be travelling in October.
Does that railway have any touristic/scenic merit during that time of the year, or is it guaranteed to be more stressful than anything?
Many thanks,
