Feel free to list your favorite DJ's for others to check out...

Personally for me it would be these guys:

Max Vangeli
AN21
Afrojack
Kim Fai
Swedish House Mafia (Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell)

Saw all of them recently; all of which were incredible (more so Swedish House Mafia)

Hey Rob,

for me #1 is Tiesto. I also like Paul Van Dyk, David Guetta, and Bob Sinclar.

I prefer to listen to Tiesto "Club Life" podcast, as the show presents various artists along with Tiesto's own work.

Cheers,
Andrej

Interesting thread.   It reminds me that I still need to vote in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll. :P

My favourite DJ is Judge Jules. He plays weekly on Radio 1 and appears in clubs all over the world! I've seen him play in Ibiza and also in Magaluf last year. He's such a friendly guy too.

I also really like Above & Beyond. Unfortunately I've yet to see them spin live though. That said, they (as producers) have released some fantastic tunes recently. I'm sure this has done a lot to further their careers as DJs. Hopefully I will get to see them play live in the UK next month.

Above & Beyond:

If you like classic trance, and if you haven't heard Above & Beyond before (Where have you been?!) I really suggest checking them out on Youtube.

Favourite of all time has to be Sander van Doorn, followed by Armin van Buuren and Deadmau5.

1. Tiesto...I'll echo the sentiment about his podcast.
2. Armin van Buuren...the best 'pure trance' dj, perhaps.
3. Ferry Corsten...strikes a good balance between tiesto and Armin.
4. Sander van Doorn
5. Deadmau5...strobe still blows my mind, but he was underwhelming live
6. Andy Moor...underrated

Had never heard of him until he played on what I thought was just a random night at zouk in sg. he's great live, not afraid to mix genres throw some old songs into the mix, just a great crowdpleaser. I'll say the same for 2manydj's (Soulwax?) from Belgium, I think. They play a crazy set.

I saw Ferry Corsten at Coachella a few years back. That was pretty sweet. Hybrid performed he did, and then the Crystal Method performed which was totally awesome.

I'd say they've gone way too commercial, that said their tunes are still ripe for some good remixes...like Michael Badal's remix of 'Home'

Ah, old school. When I first got into EDM in a big way back in 1998 or so it was his Friday night Radio 1 show that really steered my tastes. I'd religiously listen to it to the extent where I refused to work on Friday nights so I could listen in

Now you're talking

Nick Warren's GU mixes are stuff of legend. Consistently amazing producer with Jody. 'Future Perfect' is one of my favourite tunes of the last couple of years.

Most certainly. His Moor Music podcast is fantastic.

Their 'As Heard On The Radio' mix is incredible. Amazingly inventive

I like Sander van Doorn too. I saw him play in Ibiza (Eden) back in 2006 and his set was very good. Sadly, I didn't really know who he was at the time and I left the club before his set ended! On a separate occasion, I also did the same to Richard Durand and Lisa Lashes too! Had I known who they were, I certainly wouldn't have left lol
