The guy should be asked if he would like to be rried under Sharia law e.g. in Saudi Arabia or maybe under Malaysian or Indonesian laws (both countries with a Muslim population majority) for drug possession...
I´m quite sure that he´d pick the american laws. I doubt that he would like an 8 o´clock appointment with a Malaysian hangman or an Indonesian firing squad or the big Saudi headsman with his razorsharp sword in Jeddah.
