I will be spending about 7 hours in Oslo in two weeks time and would like to know what you guys would recommend that I see and do in the 7 hours I have available. Suggestions to things to visit such as museums, parks, restaurants, etc. are all welcome.
My budget is pretty tight, though - so what can you recommend I do? I will be taking the DFDS ferry from CPH to OSL and back again.

The Viking Ship Museum is worth a visit.
If you are interested in art, may be you want to check E. Munch's "The Scream" at the National Gallery. When I was there in 2006 the picture had been stolen IIRC.

Thank you for the reminder! Yes, that's a must!
Quoting Scandinavian (Reply 3): I would visit Fram, the world’s most famous polar ship.
I didn't know about that. I'll definitely look into it

Beaware that the Munch Museum is closed on Mondays in the winter. Cost is 75NOK. It is accessible by train at Tøyen or bus nr. 20 PM me and maybe I can show you around.
