I recently "rediscovered" Bob Marley after not listening to him in years, and he's really good. Good songs of his are (among many others):

Is This Love
Red Red Wine
Trenchtown Rock
No Woman No Cry
Everything's Gonna Be Alright

Who else thinks his music is awesome?

Back when I used to live in the dorms, I had posters of Bob Marley decked out all over the crib.  Smokin cool

Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Undeniably the best !

Best albums, Natural Mystic and Talkin Blues.

Best songs ... too many to judge but if forced I say 'Burnin and Lootin' and 'Soul Rebel'.

Great music! Bob Marley & the Wailers made me learn how to play music by a different way. (Do anybody noticed the importance of the bass in reggae music?.

True OzarkD9S, but I wonder how many people actual GET the music of Tuff Gong? And not just the music, but the man himself.

He transcended music and was able to comment with some authority on just about every issue confronting Jamaicans in his time.

I read "To Catch A Fire" some years ago, and remember a story told in it, when he travelled to play at the independence celebrations in Zimbabwe in 1980, whilst waiting at the airport for their flights outta there, he was approached by some men who turned out to be minders of Prince Charles. The minders proceeded to tell him how much of a fan the Prince was of his, and would like to meet him and would he accompany them to meet the Prince. Tuff Gong said words to the effect "Well if he is such a fan, and wants to meet me, let him come over here and meet me".

Favourite song or album? Don't have one, as I like all of his music. All his songs define the man and the LEGEND!
