A man wearing "kangaroo shoes" was attempting to jump over a moving car driven by his father, but did not clear the car.

Anyone in Germany see this?

This is what can happen when you join these type of contests. Shall be a true horror for his father, driving the car.

Didn't see it, but obviously heard about it. He is still in an induced coma with no definitive answer if he will fully recover.

Yes, the showmaster, Thomas Gottschalk, said, that they can't go on, as if nothing had happened. I think, it was a good decision.

I only saw it on youtube, and I think, that such accidents can happen, if you try to do this kind of stunts.

I hope for the guy, that he will recover fully.

As in, he's going to die, or he's going to be paralyzed?

They said, that he is now out of the induced coma, but had to have another surgery. His legs and part of his arms are still paralyzed, and they said, that his chances of recover fully from those paralyzations is quite small, at the moment. He will survive, but it will take a while, and a lot of therapy, until he will know, how far he can recover from this injury.

Poor guy..

Yes, I seldom watch the show, but did this time. It was really shocking. "Wetten Dass" is a co-production of ZDF (2nd German TV), ORF (Austrian TV) and SRG (Swiss TV).

to add to the details above, he got transferred to a specialized hospital in Switzerland, where they try their best to help him. According to the doctors, nothing is sure, and they say that it needs many months.
