I found this quite funny http://uk.news.yahoo.com/18/20101208...-by-same-cop-at-oppos-879dccc.html

Former London bobby Andy Flitton ticketed the man in Britain two years ago, shortly before migrating to New Zealand -- then caught him again in September on a highway in the South Island, the New Zealand Herald reported.

Flitton, who now works for the New Zealand traffic police, said he had forgotten about the original booking until the man approached him while he was writing out the ticket.

"He asked if I had worked in London, I said 'yes'. He asked if I used to operate the laser gun on the A5 in North London, I said 'yes'," Flitton told the newspaper.

"And he said 'I thought it was you, you gave me my last speeding ticket there two years ago'."

Flitton said the man told him he had moved to New Zealand two weeks before his latest booking, unaware his nemesis was also in the same country.

"We must have some sort of connection," he said. "He only ever broke the law twice and both times I was the one to give him a ticket... it just shows what a small world it really is."

That if great! What are the chances of that happening? Back when I was a Freshman at Central Missouri State University I was in class with a guy named Nick Rhima. We were friends when we were little kids, in Colorado, but his family moved to Texas and mine later moved to Missouri. I asked him if he ever lived in Colorado and he did and it turned out to be the same guy I had not seen, or heard from in 14 years. We became friends again. Not extreme distances like England to New Zealand, but still kind of odd.

Kind of like selling something on ebay to somebody you know, all the way across the country and neither of you know who it is until the biding is over. I sold a Falstaff Beer yard stick to a guy in Brentwood, CA. that I have drank with on several occasions.

I also sold something to one of Superfly's old neighbors, I even knew the truck the part was being bought for. When I saw the guy's address I emailed something about how that part would look good on his yellow and white 84 Chevy truck. He wondered how I knew what color his truck was. He got a kick out of it when I said he lived in the same block as my buddy and I saw his truck several times and admired it.

My mug slaketh over on Falstaff N503

hehe! Come to think of it I had something similar, I went to Australia from England in 2007/08 for a working holiday, I was staying in Sydney for 6 weeks before deciding to go to brisbane, and went through 3 hostels before settling on the 4th, and only made real friends there, and within that 3+ months, I met a guy who was in the same year at my school  It then dawned on me that I'd seen him a lot back then
