What is the weather like where you are today?
Here in Detroit (I live less than ten minutes from DTW) it snowed this morning and it is around 29 F (1.6 C) right now and will get to around 20F (-6.6 C)tonight. I am sure some of you are a lot colder than me and some of you are sitting under a palm tree drinking cocktails!

Here in Port Elizabeth, South Africa it's currently 19°C/66°F, humidity 88%, time 00:05 (five minutes past midnight). It's mid Summer now. The Average High for Jan/Feb is 25°C/77°F and the Average Low 18°C/64°F.
Even in mid Winter it very rarely goes below 10°C/50°F !

A LOT of snow in HELsinki, more than in 40y but I like it, much better than the black winters common here by the sea. Snow brings some light to the winter darkness. Parking a car can be hard these days, but otherwise business as usual, in city and at HEL.

77F in OKC today sunny and light wind not bad for January.
Suppose to be 9F with 6" snow on Monday evening, quite an extreme swing.
Just wonder how far south the arctic air is going. It is not that much farther south to DAL, wonder what the weather is predicted for the Superbowl?

At the moment it is 17°F here in downtown Minneapolisopolis (that's Greek for Minneapolis).
Last week we were at -14°F when I walked home from work one morning; they said we were gonna head back below zero tomorrow but the forecasts have warmed up a bit. Sigh...I kinda liked the -14°F stuff; if you're equipped for it, it can be pretty invigorating!!

Today in southern Maine it's not so bad by Maine winter standards. It's 3:30am and a balmy 24F. A couple nights ago it was -14F. Actually most of last week was sub zero at night. We haven't been getting hit as hard as Southern New England and NYC this winter, which is the reverse of what's normal. We've only gotten about 17 inches of snow this year.
Nevertheless, can't say I enjoy winter. The picture below was when I was snowblowing the driveway after a storm a few weeks ago. It was slightly above zero that day, with winds blowing about 25mph. Don't I look like I'm having fun?
