I'll be back in 2 days. I expect to know exactly how many times she used the restroom, drank water (how many sips plus total volume of water), and how many times she adjusted her necklace.
Seriously. Let her fade away. The more you bring her up, the more you help her.

But anyway, I thought political candidates travel all the time, even David Cameron, whilst opposition leader here, went on several overseas trips. How is this news exactly?

Actually it real is not, though she is getting paid a hefty sum to give a talk, and also her total lack of any foreign travel was a sticking point when she ran with McCain. Though in her defense she could see Russia from her house.

This brings to mind the scene at the French restaurant in "National Lampoon's European Vacation"...

I'll start caring once she gives her speech. It'll be interesting how she deals with the issue of outsourcing - it's not good for US jobs, but it is also a natural result of the sort of laissez-faire capitalism that she espouses.

Did not realize India was part of the comedy circuit. Maybe her topic will include her understanding of geography and talk to them about the '. . country of Africa.'
And she is going to take questions...this is going to be hilarious!

Funny how we can find out what Sarah Palin is doing quicker in these forums than in the actual news.
Almost like there are some here that just search Google for news on Palin so they can post it here.
Give it a rest already, why do you have to be so concerned about her, no-one else seems to care.

No, not really. Frankly, I think it is quite disgusting that you would wish death on her.

Maybe I misread what he meant - but he seemed to imply she'd never make it back, as in plane crash, assisinated in India, etc.

Probably the same reason people stop and stare at a car accident.

It just always cracks me up that the only reason she is as big as she is is because liberals can't keep from stopping and staring. Most conservatives don't take her seriously, but the liberals seem convinced that she is a big player on the right. It seems to me that liberals can't stand her being famous, but its the liberals that keep her famous.

By what, going to India!?!?
I don't get why some people are obsessed with her every move, OBSESSED. If you ignore her (and this goes for the WBC too) they'd just fade away for the most part

Like the 5th Beatle, Sarah Palin is the 7th Python (Monty). She is a folksy, hilarious comedienne who has garnered worldwide fame. Her comedy troupe is known as the Tea Party, in honor of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party per Lewis Carroll. Those who think she's a politician haven't caught on to her brand of humor.
Some travel tips:
It is possible to see the following countries from India: Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, China, Burma.
Order Moose and you'll get served Mousse
Tea Party includes samosas - yum!
