APP: Is This A Logo Theft?

Don´t know if I´m in the right forum...anyway, the only diffrence is the colour in APP´s logo:

APP:

Any thoughts?

Watch the ad at CNN today and reacted when I saw the logo for APP.

Looks a bit like the old Airbus logo imo

It's a fairly generic logo, essentially derived from the yin/yang symbol. There are many similar ones, including the south korean national flag.

They are similar but for sure they are not identical. Tha APP logo is set in a square while the Airbus logo is not.

Also, they are in totally different business lines. Nobody is going to buy pulp and paper from Airbus and for sure aircraft don't come out of a lumber mill. Very little chance for consumer confusion.

No logo infringement IMHO.

Naaa...they don´t look like the Airbus logo. Maybe HotSpring logo (fallen over to the left)
