Sports teams like the Lakers, the Celtics, the Yankees, the Canadians, have won enough to last a lifetime. It'd be nice to see someone new go for a championship. The Lakers could never get to another final, and it wouldn't make most of the fans in the NBA cry-except those front-runners who only root for players instead of teams (like Shaq and Kobe).
A Kings-Nets finals would also be a nightmare scenario for NBC, which is fine by me. You know they desperately wanted a Lakers-Celtics finals.

Kobe can't help it if the NBA fixed it for him to end up in LA. The NBA is known to try to place the great talents where they want it. They did that with Patrick Ewing and Shaq as well. Wonder where they'll want high school phenom LeBron James to end up next year? Near his hometown of Akron, Ohio, with the Cavaliers? ROTFL. Forget it!! The NBA probably wants him in Boston to lift the Celtics to their 1 millionth NBA crown.

The ONLY good thing about the Lakers winning, is the riot that will take place after they also win the Championship. Nothing like watching Laker fan go Soccer Fan for a night after their "team" wins the big game.
