Hi everybody. I decided to buy this camera on a whim after seeing it on sale for $130 at Sears and let me say it is incredible. 15X zoom and crystal clear picture quality. Here are some raw pics uploaded from the camera :
Brooklyn Bridge:

Those look very nice. Hopefully you can keep that lens in alignment. It is really sharp. Normally super zoom isn't my thing, but that looks like it is pulling amazing detail.

Thanks. It also features a built in HDR feature, that will brighten up pictures and remove shadows.

This pic was cleaned up using this feature :

I sit here wondering to myself is there anything that GE don't make, it looks like a good camera, and I am sure that you will have fun with it, since your are on flickr I will add you as a contact

I think that you have captured some good images there and a little work on the could well make them great, a little thing that I have learnt is that levelling your picture is really important, and something that stands out as being needed on some of your images.

Interesting, I've never noticed a GE-branded small camera like that. And it has an optical viewfinder.

Hmmm, some of the longer shots seem soft, and overall many of them look grainy (switch to a lower ISO perhaps, if you can?)

Not too bad overall though for $130
