As I understand it, the pens used at the various media/document signing ceremonies, are gifts for the visiting head of state or the like.

Just like the custom of the US president using multiple pens to sign, these pens are then given to the various different parties involved as a memento.

Quite right, he looks sneaky, especially the way he takes the pen out of the box, then lowers his hands under the table, like nobody has noticed   

Wonder if he will declare it, once he returns home ????
