Happy Labor Day!
Although Thailand isn't Communist, many offices are closed and I do have the day off tomorrow.

Some businesses in the US celebrates it as well.

I went to Mayday parade here in Minneapolis which is always alot of fun. Every freak in Minnesota comes out and lets their freak flag fly freely. You have everything from Hare Krishnas to politcal pupeteers to traditional maypole dancers to baklava-ed anarchist nuts.

They're probably just trying to keep warm.

They probably wanted to include a Trabant too, but couldn't find one that would start. And I would imagine that all of the Morris Marinas rusted out decades ago.

Isn't "baklava" a kind of pastry?   I think you mean "balaklava"

And yes, it's a public holiday here too, but as a shift worker it means I get a quiet day at work instead of a busy one...
