The Rapture Cometh-Get Ready For The End Of Times!

So in the USA a Christian group (not a church apparently) has declared that "the end of times" cometh on May 21!

So get ready for all the good believers to be delivered unto the Lord and all the rest, the unbelievers and those that believe the wrong thing, to begin their descent into Hell and Damnation. You (look at me, I am assuming you are all among the sinners... tsk, tsk...   ) may be alive for another 153 days after May 21 but on October 21 (153 days after May 21) the world and the entire universe will be destroyed! So there is no hope.

Quote:
As you may have learned from one of the 2,000 billboards worldwide, May 21, 2011, is Judgment Day, upon which the righteous – which totals 3 percent of humanity – will be whisked away to the sweet hereafter, leaving the rest of us to weather five months of extreme natural disasters until Oct. 21, whereupon God destroys the entire universe and everyone left in it.

At least that's what Harold Camping says. The head of Family Radio broadcasting network, which boasts 150 outlets in the United States, has what his website calls "infallible, absolute proof" that there's no point in making plans for Memorial Day weekend. It goes like this:

(follow the link below to see the math)
http://www.csmonitor.com/Science/201...1-When-will-the-world-actually-end

Repent yee sinners! You only have two days left!

Interestingly the employees of this guys headquarters are still planning on coming into work on Monday...

I guess I'll still have A.netter's to commiserate with for another 155 days (almost seems like too long  )

He and Art Bell should form some sort of council.

Yes, but he explained that! He said that he wasn't absolutley certain of that then. People should have noticed that he put a question mark at the end of the book title (where he made the prediction). He has stated that he is absolutely certain this time (and will be absolutley, positively, for-sure, super duper certain next time... for sure).

YOU are just a non-believer making excuses to not follow the Truth!

Hopefully this guy has spent all his life savings, since he won't need it once the 22nd comes around. I bet a standard 401(k) for a guy his age (if he actually has saved at all) would let him take some nice vacations!

Somehow I'm hoping whenever the Messiah arrives, it will be a pleasant surprise rather than all this commercialized craziness.

I'm going to hell anyway so I'm sticking around for the end of the world in October (the date they said the World would end) and have a party like there's no tomorrow!!!

Actually, what difference would it make on May 22nd? So don't worry about the lawn!

Besides, the Canucks and the Sharks play on the 22nd.

That could be the series clincher.

Or maybe not.

Actually, probably not.

I'd say that's more reliable a prediction than this one.

Actually I hear an interview with one of "the believers" and the guy did speak about no longer worrying about his 401k or retirement or other daily problems. His main concern now was his family and friends that did not believe, and he was trying to share with them, convince them, of the need to change/repent NOW.
