Mine is the legendary "Annie Hall" I am trying to see every film but I have to wait for netflix to send them to me...Ugh!   I was wondering what were your favorite movies of his? Do you agree with his theories on life i.e. "short and meaningless"? I see his point but I don't think it's harsh if you make the best out of it. How many movies has he done? I counted 36. Also, if you're from Florida where is "Midnight In Paris" going to be playing because I just couldn't find a theater that carries his movies when I wanted to see them in the past. I live in the Tampa Bay Area. Thanks.

From the airport with love

I know it wasn't all that popular, but I liked "Curse of the Jade Scorpion".

I think that his latest films are fantastic. Some think that they are bourgeois and elist - but i think that they are very well made ..

Loved "Matchpoint" and "Vicky Cristina Barcelona". Trying to drag friends to see "Midnight in Paris" this weekend

"Alice" is a great film. Always loved it.
"Hannah and her Sisters" and "Husbands and Wives" and "Annie Hall" are my other faves.

Manhattan was my first, and still a fave - Hannah and her Sisters number two. Crimes and Misdemeanors was a lot of fun too.

"Curse of the Jade Scorpion".

I usually don't like Woody Allen movies, but I liked that one.

I'm a huge fan of his work in cinema. In his old movies my favourites are Manhattan, Bananas, take the money and run, Manhattan Murder Mistery. I the more recents, Deconstructing Harry, The Curse of the Jade Scorpion (Helen Hunt is amazing), Hollywood Ending, Matchpoint, Vicky Christina Barcelona.

looking forward to see his latest one.

I was a fan of his earlier movies which were more all-out comedies. I thought Sleeper was hilarious. Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex had some good gags too. Annie Hall is still my favorite Woody Allen movie though

The first one I ever saw, "Take the Money and Run", is my favorite. "Bananas" is runner up.

Ditto.. I thought I heard a blurb about it being in TPA, and I'll post if I can find out where. We're so screwed for good artsy movies here...

"Zelig" is my favorite... "Annie" second, and "Sex" third.

With all the folks who were his staple of actors that ended up on the original "Law & Order", I'm surprised he was never involved in an episode.

I read once that "Annie" was intended to be a murder mystery at one point, but was re-thought as the comedy worked better.

If you don't stand for SOMETHING, you'll fall for ANYTHING.

Loved "Love and Death"! Indeed, loved pretty much all of his earlier work.
