For those who love old cars the Leake actions every year are of more than a little interest.
Collectors, vendors, automotive aficionados and simple car fans are expected to pack the QuikTrip Center at Expo Square Friday through Sunday to watch more than 700 cars take to the auction block and potentially change hands at the Leake Auction 2011 Tulsa show.
The event will feature some cars expected to sell for more than $300,000, such as a classic 1982 BMW M1 AHG, one of only 10 of the model ever made.
There is also a fair share of American classics such as 1960s Ford Mustangs and the powerful 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. Then there are early favorites such as Studebakers, Packards and other vehicles from the early years of mass automotive manufacturing.
