After a very close game between the two Group G teams of the Fifa World Cup, Croatia has taken the victory over Italy with 2 goals to 1. Vieri scored first for Italy on the 55th minute (his 3rd goal of the tournament), but Croatia soon recovered scoring two goals, on the 73rd minute (Olic, who entered as a substitute), and the 76th min (Rapaic). Croatia has lost their first game to Mexico, which makes this the more surprising. Italy was quite unfortunate today, with a free kick that went to the post, and two goals that were disallowed due to supposed offsides, any comments about those?
In any case, the two teams seemed to be fairly equal today, and its a great result for Croatia, congratulations!

I got the impression the ref signalled the Italian had scored the Croatian´s shirt?
Anyway, all in all a fair result I´d say. A draw would have been OK too.

P.S.: What´s up with the favourites? One after the other losing...

The referees need to be fired for making the worst calls ever. This is Unbelievable...
Italy should have been the winner of the match . But the referees robbed their victory .The scores must be 3-2 .
Do not let them be referees of any another match in the future..

I completely agree that the referee was bought. I'm not even Italian, but I can see that the whole game was definately corrupted!! The ref did appear to be bought!!!

Yeah, the referee was really bad. His peformance was nearly as bad as the performance of the S. Korean referee, surprising for an english referee. Shit happens, maybe he just had a bad day. Even the worlds-best referee made a mistake yesterday which decided the game...

Errr....the referee wasnt bad, the linesmen were bad.
The first disallowed goal for offside should have counted, the second ruled-out goal was because Inzaghi pulled the Croatian guys shirt so that was rightly disallowed.

"scored the Croatian´s shirt" - caramba, I meant to write "pulled the Croatian´s shirt", sorry.
Anyway, people make mistakes, and I don´t believe it´s appropriate to call this "corrupted". And before we punish them for mistakes, we should remember that we have 5 replays in slow motion from 5 different angles. The refs don´t have that luxury.
And I don´t understand why everyone is so mad at the Korean ref from the BRA-TUR game - so he awarded a wrong penalty, so? It has happened before and it´s going to happen again. Nothing serious. And he was right with both expulsions.

I can said the same thing as Ihadapheo,
I was almost getting sleepy and I also I saw the goals with no replays... I think that was really unfair for Italy and Croatia was very lucky and still alive in the group G.
