Looks like the poor little rich boy screwed things up royally:

The Los Angeles Dodgers filed for bankruptcy court protection early Monday, less than a week after Major League Baseball blocked the team from signing a new television deal to provide it with the cash it needed to meet the team's payroll.
The bankruptcy filing also comes in the wake of a bitter divorce battle between owners Frank and Jamie McCourt, who finally reached a settlement earlier this month.

What a shame, I suppose I can't give up being a fan yet though. They did manage to score fifteen runs against the Twins last night.

I don't know... 15 runs or not, the Dodgers will probably be fighting my Padres for last place in the NL West for the next few years because of this mess.

And to think that fans of other teams were probably paying luxury tax to this idiot. I've got no sympathy for owners who use their teams as their own personal piggybanks (though I do feel bad for their fans). The sooner McCourt gets out, the better.

Music to this Giants fan's ears. McCourt can suck it. He and his ex have blown a golden opportunity. 3.5 million in attendance or better three consecutive seasons, higher ticket prices, a bigger celebrity crowd than ever, and they still can't make any money. Then the guy goes and blames MLB for his woes. It's laughably pathetic.
If you need someone to blame / throw a rock in the air / you'll hit someone guilty

I'm guessing at some point MLB will own this team like they did with the Expos...
