How many are going to stay up for the game, it starts at 2:00am on the East Coast?
Look out South Korea (or "Repubic of Korea"...whatever) Reyna's going to playing.
I don't care about the "host factor", like Kobe Bryant said "crowd noise can't block my jumpshot".
I hope they can win tommorow to lock up a 2nd round spot, but if that doesn't happen they will surely beat Poland.

It won't be an easy game by far, the asians teams look really determined. Even China battled hard against Brazil even though they lost 4-0. The USA will do well to get to the next round, but that's it, no more for them. I expect USA and South Korea to get through.

Really, Arsenal@LHR? You expect both Portugal and Poland to go out? I can't see that myself, particularly in the case of Portugal, they have so much talent and surely can't defend as badly as they did agains the States.

I seriously believe Poland will go out, maybe Portugal will just about scrape through. The USA have the comfort of 3 points in the bag, even if they draw against S.Korea they still have a better chance than Portugal. Footballing-wise, i want Portugal to go through, the world cup needs skillful players, although it would be nice to see one of the underdogs to suprise a few people.

Kobe Bryant is an NBA basketball player. He was answering a question about the effects of crowd noise when he made that comment.

How does this soccer scoring system work.
I understand that win the US got a couple of days ago was worth three point toward advancement.
How much is this worth? What do you need to advance?

The USA gets 1 point now. WHEN we beat Poland we will get 4 more for a total of 7, which will move us to the nd round.
All in all not a bad game.

27 L-188: Interesting, Now am I correct in understanding that if you get a red card, the other team is on a power play for the rest game?
