Help With Caribbean Trip Planning!

So I've amazingly never been to the Caribbean and am planning a somewhat last-minute trip there for August for 5 or 6 days. My friend and I were thinking about either Puerto Rico, St Maarten, or the Virgin Islands. The airfares to all are pretty much the same, so we don't have really much to narrow it down by.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to either an island and/or hotel for us? We're basically looking to de-stress, so looking for a nice hotel, a nice beach, etc?

Well since you are on A.net, and you have never been to the Caribbean, the prrices ar all the same, I think the choice is clear... SXM/Maho Beach.

I am from the Southern Caribbean BTW, Grenada, but I don´t like Puerto Rico that much for a vacation, the Virgin Islands are pretty decent, but I prefer SXM because of the aviation plus..

There is something special about planes....

I know SXM is much better aviation wise, but are the beaches all more or less the same? Ditto for the cultural experiences?

Ok, I decided upon St. Maarten. Does anybody have advice re: Maho Beach times or other fun things to do on the island?

Remember this is a dual language and dual country island - Dutch and French. You get two for the price of one.

Lots to do and see. Looking through this website will give you some ideas.

There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde
