Just bought my first Ducati 6 months ago after riding for years and always wanting one. Is there any other Ducati owners or enthusiasts in the forums?

I was sitting at a stoplight a couple of months back and there was a Monster with an aftermarket exhaust.... and it made some of the most glorious sounds I've heard in a long-time. But I was also next to an SV650N more recently, and it probably had a similar aftermarket exhaust, and it made similar noises (though not as nice as the Monster).

Now I respect the history and heritage of the brand, I am kinda cold on the brand. The only model that they sell that really interests me is the new Multistrada. If I had to pick any of the European brands I'd say I am solidly a Triumph guy. I'd have a hard time deciding between a Street Triple R, Sprint GT and a Tiger 800.

2H4 has (had?) a Monster IIRC.

I'm dying to get a Monster, but I'm too broke.

I'm the proud owner of a Monster.   I after after market exhaust on mine and I have to say there is nothing else like the sound of a sweet Duc. Triumphs are great bikes as well. After the Monster I'm thinking about a Triumph.

I have a 2009 Monster. Sadly this year I only put 200 km on it.

I'm still dreaming of getting a Monster (900 dark). A while back I did a testride on a new 1000S. After riding a Kawasaki ER-5 Twister for 5 years, this was a great experience! Unfortunately, I had to sell the Kawa due to some financial problems, and never had enough money, to get me a new motobike.

That is sad. I put around 1200 miles on mine this summer alone haha. Flying planes and riding my two loves.

I rode a Kawasaki ZX-7 for years. Great bikes!

I take that back, the one I'd love to get is a sportclassic:

Which is the bike from tron, and keeping the movie theme in mind, I would also get one of these:

Very nice! What year is that one, mine looks almost identical to it (except for a few cosmetic things)

Thanks! It's a 2001 M900Sie. I love it, but I'd probably trade it for a first-generation Multistrada 1000S.
