I am very happily to see that one of Iowa class battleships is going to be displayed in Los Angeles harbor. I think there are so many good things I like about battleships, from their big muscle like guns, to the fact that they have very strong hulls. I believe a ship should be stronger than a locomotive, and Battleships are the closest thing to this ideal. Growing up in the LA area, I was happily to hear that we was getting one the four Iowa class battleships. That fact that LA is getting the lead ship of the class makes this better. I read that the Iowa was being move to Los Angeles Harbor in October, but I know she needs to be dry dock first and painted, before she is moved to Los Angeles. So when is the USS Iowa likely to be moored in Los Angeles Harbor ? I am planning to visit my parents in Inglewood, during the Christmas/New Years time, so I hope the see her in Los Angeles Harbor.
PS: It is going to be nice to see another interesting ship other than the Queen Mary in the LA area. The Lane Victory is not really interesting to me.
