Do you believe in corporal punishment? Should we find alternative ways to punish kids or is it that a bunch of psycologists have just come up with stupid findings that will further spoil our kids?

I'm not really for corporate punishement, usually a good "you're grounded for 2 weeks" works good.

All I know is, grounding or taking away priviledges had absolutely no effect on me as a youngster. I was way too bad and clever for that.

It is a lot better then drugging up the kids, which everybody seems to want to do these days.

I think a quick light slap may be in order for some youngsters, but no methodical spanking. Usually a stern voice will set the kids straight.

L-188-

I totally agree. After taking their Ritalin, Zorox, and phen-phen, who has time to eat?

Sadly our national model has become "If It Can't Be Solved With Drugs, Then It Wasn't A Problem In The First Place".
