Wow - Just logged into Origin today, and there was a 4GB update.
This game was clearly not finished when they released it to the public, I wonder why people would release a game that, so far as i remember, have updates for over 6-8GB! Isn't this a lot of patches/updates for a game title that is as big as Battlefield was? Yes I say was, because with the Battlefield 3 - I'm sure that the Battlefield series have declined in users - at least many of the players got back to playing BF2 or Bad Company 2!
-What is your opinion on this big update/patches? Am I totally wrong?

I did the same. I gotta thank EA sport for atleast releasing a free preview. I had a lot of trouble getting Origin to work right and even when I managed to do it, the game did not work too well. Needless to say I did not bother buying the full version. My usual BF2 servers are still full with regulars so I guess not many people switched.

To the OP, I believe the expansion pack "Back to Kharkand(sp?)" was released today on the PS3. I prefer the strategy of BC3 to the twitchy arcade style of MW3. A lot of people don't realize they're two different types of games. I also prefer PC gaming over consoles.
Happy shooting!
So we beat on against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

Well said.
The gameplay of BF2, BF 1942 is distinctly different than any CoD series. I prefer BF series and I too play exclusively on PC's. Too bad I will not be joining bandwagon of BF3 any time soon.

Quoting FighterPilot (Reply 9): True. To be honest I'm a fan of both BF and CoD.
Ask anyone on a dedicated BF og CoD forum and they would respond "You have to be either BF or CoD" (personally I don't care - Just think it's is stupid to say that someone has to choose)
I haven't played CoD yet - since I'm alright with BF!
