A friend of mine has a Crossfit gym, and I've been thinking about trying it out. I was in okay shape last year, had a trainer I saw 2x a week, but I've gotten soft since the Summer. I was thinking the Group activity of Crossfit would be motivating, any novices with experience with Crossfit?

My boss just started it and he raves about it. The only thing is that the times of the work out change. Sometimes he has to go at 6am other times its around noon and still other times it's 3pm. He likes it but doesn't love it. Sounds like a great way to get in shape.

I did it a couple years ago. I loved it. The local owner ended up closing it due to lack of participants. The only thing I didn't like was that the owner only had it open in the mornings, after work would've been better for me. Great workouts though.
