You sure beat me! I'll soon be booking a trip to Europe for the summer though, so that should be neat as well!

Yamaha R6

My new beautiful Yamaha R6. Bought at the end of October 2011. Destroyed at the end of November 2011.

Now I'm in a situation similar to Nancy Bird. Insurance is still deciding if the bike is worth repairing or if it is a total loss.

A very (and thank god for that) uncool item, namely a heat fan. My radiator is a bit on and off, and when the temperature dips below 5-10 degrees C below freezing, a heat source of some sort is very much needed.

HP LaserJet P1102w. It's wireless and connects right through our home network, so all of our laptops (and iPhone 4 with AirPrint!) can print from anywhere in the house. The desktop also prints to it right through the wireless router. It stays on "cold" standby all the time, and doesn't need to be connected to any one computer to access the internal settings...simply type in its network IP address from any network-connected computer in an open browser window, and the printer "configuration page" appears. You can also download a driver installer right from configuration page for any computers not yet connected and ready. I love this printer!

My last purchase was a weekend in Dallas, just finished, with my 7 year old grandson. All focused on ALL day Saturday at LEGOLand.

For a picture I could put in one of my empty wallet, sore feet, stiff back or just a Really Pooped Pappa.

Surprisingly enough I can't think of anything I would have rather purchased.

WANT. (Although I already have a 50mm f/1.4   )

My 20D is getting long in the tooth, and the 1.8 inch viewing screen is just so tiny. Not sure I'm ready to step into a full-frame body, and I don't need the speed of the 7D or even the power/performance that the latest prosumers now offer compared to the 20D...So I'm sure when it's time for a new body, the latest Rebel will do just fine. Plus that'll save money toward good glass.

(Call me weird, but I actually had a dream last night that I was shooting around with a nice, new camera and some sort of ultra wide-super zoom telephoto L-IS lens which I know doesn't exist...Probably somewhere in the range of 17-400mm.Wow! Although I guess the real-life 28-300mm L-IS would come the closest.  )
