Whats that theme park thats in San Jose, CA? They have this really good stand up rollercoaster and the freefall thing is really cool too (except they closed it about a week after I was there because some kid fell off it, I dont know if they opened it back up).

The Rocking Roll Roller Coaster with Aerosmith in it at MGM Studios at Disney Wold is the best ride I have EVER been on.

I'll third that vote for Montu at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida! We went there in Febuary, well to Ft. Lauderdale then flew to tampa bay for a few days and went to busch gardens, for my first time. I LOVED that park, its the best in the world IMHO. It was like not crowded at all! No lines, you could walk onto rides, and the poeple let us stay on rides when there were no people in line, or not enough people to fill the rides, it was AWESOME! GO THERE!

I prefer the roller coasters made out of wood. Going upside down through hoops just doesn't thrill me as I prefer steep drops and rises and tight turns. Since the wooden coasters don't go upside down, the passengers aren't secured quite so tightly and there's freedom to be tossed around your seat a bit and even fly up out of it a little.

This is the "Timber Wolf" at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City. Probably the best I've ever been on.

Anyone have roller coaster tycoon? If you don't, I strongly suggest you buy it. I have been on many roller coasters and surprisingly my favorite is the Cyclone at Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY. It may not seem so good by the statistics, but if you ever get a chance to get on it, you'll see why its my favorite because it will then be yours.

Sometimes I go about in pity for myself and all the while a great wind carries me across the sky.

1. Thunderbolt at Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh
2. The Beast at Paramounts Kings Island in Cincinatti
3. Steel Phantom (now being the 1st roller coaster to be remodled) at Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh.
4. Raging Bull at Six Flags Chicago
5. Wild Thing at Valleyfair in Minneapolis

I tend to like any Roller Coaster, but, here are some of my favorites I can remember...

1.) Lock Ness Monster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg VA
2.) The Beast at Kings Island
3.) I can't remember the name of the park, but its in Ohio, near Cleveland. There is like 14 plus coasters there, and many were good.
4.) Superman at Six Flags over New York (Darien Lake)

The park you are thinking of is Cedar Point, KROC, I like it too because I went on my first upside down roller coaster there. They all rock-I wanna go on Millennium Force so bad!!

Montu is the best!! Fairly long, 7 inversions, suspended, 4g's...like Paradise!!

Thanks USAFHummer. Cedar Point is the name. This coming Spring, I am getting out of the Air Force and driving from Cali back home to NY. Hopefully I will be able to swing by and check out the new Coasters at Cedar Point. I also guess i have to check out the Montu in Fl. To bad I wasn't still stationed down there.

You have to go on Raptor and Mantis, they rule-and Magnum for serious whiplash. Montu is good for a huge adrenalin rush, and 4g's. Absolutely the best!

My vote goes to The Hangman and The Boomerang at Wild Adventures Theme Park. You probably haven't heard of it. It is off of I-75 near Valdosta, GA. They are undergoing an expansion and will compete with Six Flags Over Georgia when the expansion is over with.

The Hangman

The Boomerang

If you are ever in south Georgia, you should try this theme park out. Plus its only $23 per person.

You haven't been on a real roller coaster until you've experienced the Texas Giant at Six Flags over Texas, in Arlington (outside of Dallas, right by DFW). It's one of the longest that I've ever been on, an awesome wooden roller coaster.

I went on this really cool one in Japan called the "White Cyclone" at a park called Nagashima Spaland near Nagoya. It's one of the largest in the world and has a great view!!

I would have chosen Space Mountain at Disneyland but you can't see anything from it.

1. The Increadable Hulk - Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, FL. All I can say is WoW! You get shot out of the station like a F-16 off an aircraft carrier. 0-55mph in a second!

2. Alpenguist- Busch Garden, WIlliamsburg, VA- Cool inverted rollercoaster threw the woods

3. Dueling Dragons- Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, FL. Dueling inverted rollercoasters. Awesome ride!
