2011 NewFlyer C40LFR
San Diego MTS # 609 at Old Town Transit Ctr
Amtrak Pacific Surfliner arriving at Fullerton, CA bound for Los Angeles. Its always nice to see something different out here. F40 Cabbage patch # 90230 dumy unit pulling ... and P32-8 pushing
The next northbound Amtrak had another P32-8 in the Phase IV paint scheme pushing
This is the only think intresting in the Metrolink fleet, other than that I could care less lol.
until all these Metros passed by, then things got intresting..BNSF 7408 eastbound intermodel pauses at Fullerton to wait for a westbound to go by.
BNSF 7702 pauses at Fullerton to wait for a westbound Metrolink to go by.
Do u want the Culver City Rapid or the Santa Monica Rapid ?
2011 NABI 40LFW. Really sharp looking buses .. love the way they lean
2005 NABI 40LFW with a Detroit Series 50MK-G engine

Thank again for the photos. I like living in Virgina, but I do miss the transportation and just over all vibe, of Southern California.

With the B 40 spartan nose, B 40W wide nose and B 32 spartan nose locomotives pulling freight, it is funny to see B 32W wide nose (P32-8) locomotives, pulling high speed Amtrak trains, only. I have travel on Amtrak trains pulled GE P-42s and EMD F59 phis, but sadly, I never travel on a train pulled by a P32-8, but I would like to. Here In Virgina, all Amtrak sends, is P-40 or P-42s. I like Metro link F59phs, although they ugly as sin, I like them.

CSX has really grown on me, and I like going by the Amtrak station next to the CSX at night, so I can watch the CSX coal trains leave Newport News, and I love hearing their GE and EMD locomotive from my home, but BNSF will always have a large place in my heart. After studying the Alameda Corridor, I think it was a good ideal for Los Angeles, but I wish BNSF would sometimes, run the Z train via the whole old Harbor Sub Division, while I visiting my parents. I would bet, that a lot of younger rail ran, who lives in Inglewood, would be shocked to hear that there used to be a large amount of long distance stack trains rolling thought their town.
PS: I am close to get my CDL. Yes I am back in college to get my BA, but why not have a job that I enjoy while I am in college.

Good pics as usual, Eddie. Boy I wish I could post the pic I have as my current wallpaper, its a news pic, so copyrighted, but just imagine a 60 foot artic sitting with its front end in someone's driveway after going off route during the last snowstorm in denver then trying to do a U-turn in a culdesac.
I could have elite status if I wanted it, but flying the same airline all the time is boring.

A few years ago while at OCTA I had to make a u-turn in a cul de sac while driving an artic. That tested my skills without help
