I am no stranger to soda and energy drinks but when I was six I was drinking more milk than soda, BTW anybody remember serge?? Still though, Red Bull is powerful stuff so the long term affects will play well in her favor...

I drank Mountain Dew when I was 6 and look at how I turned out.

Back in my day, we even had Jolt which was very strong.
I was never in any beauty contest though.

Considering genetics and diet, I don't think that beauty contest thing is going to last too long...unless Superfly is thinking of getting into that business.

The reporter even says that it's about embracing southern roots, and in that category she gets a perfect 10. Well on her way to following in her mom's footsteps and embodying the redneck ideal of being fat and stupid.

Of course, it could be that the girl and her family are not committed enough. After all, don't the real models all use cocaine? All the jittery, heart attack inducing benefits of caffeine with none of the poor nutrition and the tooth rotting effect is probably about even with Mountain Dew anyway.

Why do Aerospace Engineering students have to turn things in on time?

No way. That whole industry just seems too weird.
I didn't drink that much Mountain Dew anyway at that age. I preferred milk at that age.

Am I the only one who saw the mom in her pink shirt and was reminded of Jabba the Hut - wearing a pink shirt?

When I first heard the phrase "White Trash" long time ago I thought it's a bit tough to say that. Now, this perfectly hits the nail on the head in this case.

Actually, this is child abuse, feeding a 6 year old with caffeine containing drinks (don't now what Mountain dew contains, would not and never have touched that garbage) is a crime. These whole beauty pageants are criminal. That child shuld be taken away from the parents .

Exactly. That 6 year old is already on her way to that "ideal".

BTW - even today some kids in rural Bavaria get a sip from daddy's beer on a Sunday morning. That is a 100% natural and healthy beverage, considered food in Bavaria.

Still being breast fed?

That kid is pretty fat, I'd be embarassed if my 6 year old could pinch that much fat, not that he could, the boy is rocking a serious set of abs, something my wife would like me to have.
