For the AdHoc/VIP charter pool. What does that mean, well Delta routinely runs VIP/Adhoc/Private charters for WH Press Corps, Private companies, celebrity tours and other neat stuff. Whether i'll get any? Who knows? But 1500 FAs applied, 200 were interviewed and 80 were selected. Where I fall on the list? I don't know. I'm not in the 1st tier, (the top 10), I'm in a 2nd tier of 70. Iknow, who cares, but, it's an honour to have been chosen. And my resume paled in comparison to most of the people I was sized up against. Ok, cue the cargo bays

Quoting texan (Reply 1): Congratulations! That's a pretty damn cool gig. Hope you get scheduled on some and end up with some great stories.
Thanks mate. Coming from NW culture which was 100% seniority driven, I never had a prayer at some of the fun, far-out trips. And If I did get one one(which was almost never), it was by complete accident, and not by design. The interview process was a bit of a eye-roller. I've always been a very humble sort, but when I was interviewing alongside some of the other candidates, I was a bit taken back and quite a bit nauseated. Some real attention-seekers and colossal egos. It was an honor to have been chosen to interview. Now, all I have to do is wait for the call.

Quoting JetBlueGuy2006 (Reply 9): Congrats Man, question for you. Will you still hold a regular line then? I would assume yes, but it seems like it would be hard to work it in.
The trips will be preplotted on my line, the ones that come prior to the monthly bid run. Depending on where you're ranked, some will be in a group of reserves, if they need somewhen other have trips assigned. I din't know where I am in the rankings.
Quoting JetBlueGuy2006 (Reply 9): Are you on the list forever, or do you have reapply after a certain period of time.
It's a 1 year commitment. I don't know if you have to reapply, and if I do, I probably won't. But who knows, I may like it.

Well Fridge, most of these charters are total confidentiality. It would be an awfully quick exit if I was to divulge any information, especially involving the WHPC or any VIPs.
