My current favorite is "Moloko Mesto" by Sepultura, from their album A-Lex (based on A Clockwork Orange):

Revolution - The Beatles

That would be "Revolution #9". This is "Revolution 1" from the White Album:

Or, the better (in my opinion) version as the B-Side to "Hey Jude":

My favourite changes probably twice a week, but the song I've been listening on repeat the most lately is Icarus by Madeon. He's this 17-year old DJ from France who is wayyy ahead of his age in terms of talent. I went to see him at a club in my hometown last week where he isn't even old enough to get (if he weren't the headliner) yet he absolutely blew the place up!

How can I listen to it backwards on CD?
Quoting vikkyvik (Reply 7):
This is "Revolution 1" from the White Album:

There were two versions, fast and slow. The slow version, the lyrics had "you can count me out...in". During the Tate-LaBianca Murder Trial, this line, according to Charles Manson's chief prosecutor, Vincent Bugliosi, convinced him that the Beatles approved, although reluctantly, the revolution or race war that he wanted to create.

Quoting vikkyvik (Reply 7):
Or, the better (in my opinion) version as the B-Side to "Hey Jude"

It's difficult to have a single favorite, but if I had tp pick one it would be "And I Love Her" from A Hard Day's Night album.

Trying to get a local band I jam with to learn this song. Has a nice groove and melody.
I know a guy here that has a perfectly working Fender Rhodes and ARP2600 analog synthesizer like the one used in this song. (Ok only serious musicians know this stuff).

I love the bass line and string arrangements in this masterpiece.

Manteau Rouge - Gérard Manset

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FAS6KWyAtM

Manteau rouge

On est tous pareils, on na rien dautre à faire
Que décrire sur un bout dpapier
La vie quon mène à lautre bout dla terre
Pendant quon voit les bombes tomber

Mais, de lautre côté de le riviêre,
Tas des hommes qui mangent des chiens,
Des femmes quont peur de la lumière,
Quont plus de lait dans les seins.

On sdépêche, on arrive et on passe devant.
Y a pêtre quelque chose à voir.

On sdemande cqui sest passé.

No worries. I'm fairly certain 90% of his fans have even misspelled it a time or two. I know I have at least once!

I didn't think he had much of a following in the States though. He's wildly popular up here. Good to hear he's getting bigger.
