Kathryn Joosten Dies At 72

Emmy award winning actress Kathryn Joosten, who starred in Desperate Housewives and The West Wing has died at the age of 72. She had been fighting lung cancer.

Famous for her roles as President Josiah Bartlett's Secretary Mrs Landingham in The West Wing and Karen McCluskey in Desperate Housewives - the latter role of which won her two Emmys - she will be sadly missed.

This is what I remember her most for. I wish they wouldn't have killed her off. I did enjoy Lily Tomlin, a bit more comedy, but Mrs. Landingham is always there to keep a box of fresh pens.

Nope, that was Linda Hunt, who more recently has been starring with Chis O'Donnell and LL Cool J on NCIS: LA
