As a SAAB owner, this has me mystified and worried. What will become of SAAB with this kind of outfit?

Perhaps they just want the SAAB name? That would be my best guess. Because as far as I know SAAB hadn't made any electric cars, in the US at least.

My guess is they want the name as well as some of the Swedish facilities and some of the employees, and whatever government support that comes along with that.

Inspiration, move me brightly!

Saab Auto don't own the Saab brand, Saab AB do, they have stated that they will not allow any purchaser of Saab to use the name unless they keep production and development in Sweden.

To be honest, it is a bit late to be worried. Saab Automobil as we knew it was over some time ago.

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).

At least it's staying in Sweden and is not going to be bought out by Tata and moved to India.

Perhaps they should rename the company to SABBA or just put the brand out of it's misery.

IF it left Sweden it wouldn't be able to be called Saab, that has been made very clear by the owners of the Saab brand Saab AB. Tata haven't moved Jaguar Land Rover to India either, they know that doing so would kill the brands.
