Hi!

Sorry this might be the worst thread imaginable but just thought I'd ask about something which is a big part of my life. I go to my local cafe pretty much every day for a coffee (normally Hazlenut latte). I normally go on my own (yes I have no friends!). Is there anywhere you consider your local where you go a lot. What is it like.

Here's mine, one of the Costa Coffee chains in the UK in Cheam:

Apologies if this is a terrible thread!

Many thanks,

Pierre

I wonder why!

Link to the place I go to most afternoons, around the corner from my office. They make a damn good latte.

They're part of a small chain here in Melbourne, always consistant, even at their other locations.

Heh. I go there a fair bit (well, the one off Little Bourke St). I quite like their lunch rolls. The pastrami, sauerkraut and haloumi roll is a particular favourite.

YOU WOULD!!!!

Well, we don't really have cafes here on campus at ASU (besides starbucks    )
But however, in Tokyo, I would often go to an English cafe right by Takadanobaba Station (高田馬場駅、for my Japanese friends on here   ) Its about a block or so from Waseda University.

It's called English Cafe Mickey House, and I would always go there and every day I'd meet new friends who are curious about studying English (or some other languages too!)

It's always fun!

Some people I've met

Here in MAD we've got millions..

You ask for coffee and select from the following options;
Cup or glass.
With milk, just a little milk or none.
Hot milk or warm.
Cognac or not.

You drink it at the bar or table.

No white paper cup.
No whipped cream.
No silly names.
