Ok, tomorrow it's the day of the first semi-final :

vs.

Germany will probably have to play without Hamann, who is injured after an ugly foul by a disappointed american player in the last minutes of the GER-USA match. Korea's ex-Peruggia player Ahn is also doubtful. What are your wishes, what are your predictions for the game ? Do you think the referee Maier from Switzerland will do a better job than his colleagues in the ealier Korea-games did ?

I think the referee will do a decent job, I wish Germany will blast away the Koreans at least 3-0 to take revenge for our european nations. I think Germany will win 2-0, one goal Klose, one goal Bierhoff who was substitued in at the 77th minute.

I'll say that Kahn will win  Big thumbs up
If Germany manages to win this worldcup then it will be the first time in history that a single player is the actual winner...
What I want to see is that Germany beats Korea.

I'm looking forward to the match, it looks like a fascinating match, but why do i get the feeling this match has 0-0 written all over it? I hope it doesn't end that way.

I think S. Korea is going to lose, reason being.....South Korea is under fire from everyone because of the assistance given to them by referees. So I guess the refs will have to go against them to please big officials and irate fans who feel South Korea is being given an unfair run by the refs. If you don't believe watch how carefully the linesmen and referee will be on their decision making tomorrow.

Germany better score 3 or more goals to compensate for the "standard" 2 that will be disallowed against South Korea.

I gotta go with Alpha 1 here and root for the underdogs. Germanýs had enough wins. Time to let someone else have a taste of victory.

Go SOUTH KOREA

Germany will win the game. Korea won't manage to kick out another football nation.
As for Urs Maier, the referee, I think that's very good. Also his linesmen are from France if I recall correctly so I guess they'll be able to do a good goob in a few hours.
They just have to make sure that our defence is good this time. (offsides, ...)

I will have to support Germany on this match. Not my favourite playing, but the honor of European football is at stake ! With the Turks with little chance against Brazil, it is up to the Krauts to be the European team in the final.
I expect FIFA is happy with an Asian team in the top Four and strange moves stop. S.Korea in the final would discredit definitely the WC.

Half time now, and the referees are doing a great job. Still no goals on both sides, both teams played a good game so far. I don't think the referees intentionally went against the Koreans to please the big officials (so far).

Let's see what it's gonna come out in full time.
