Mine would have to be Tangerine Dream. And my favourite album of theirs is Underwater Sunlight. Still sounds as good as when I used to listen to it as a teenager 18 years ago!

Many thanks,

My all time favourite "Instrumental Album". Very limited vocals which actually are more like just another instrument the way they are arranged. This particular performance is one of the greatest orchestrations recorded in my opinion.

How can I forget the great jazz / fusion artist such as;

Return To Forever
Al Di Meola

Deodato - Super Strut

Deodato - Crabwalk
This song has lots of cowbell too.....

Deodato - Rhapsody in Blue
This was used in a United Airlines commercial back in the late 1980s when the 747-400 was new to their fleet.

Deodato - Carly and Carole

Return To Forever - Medieval Overture

Chick Corea & Return To Forever - Spain
I love listening to this song while driving in the rain.

Every guitar player should have Al di Meola's Elegant Gypsy in his/her collection.
Al DiMeola - Race With Devil On Spanish Highway

Al DiMeola - Flight Over Rio

Maynard Ferguson - Soar Like An Eagle
This is one of the last quadraphonic releases.

Maynard Ferguson - The Fly

1960s of course.
I like to listen to Sergio Mendes & Brazil '66.
Here are some of his instrumentals.
There is some vocals but it's in Portuguese. I don't understand what they're saying but I it sounds great.
