There are 1000's of photos on A.net. How many photos does A/net process. And for that matter how many staffers do they have?

Back in 2000, a thread on this subject was posted and they figured 137 photos per day
137 Photos Per Day (by Southflite Feb 2 2000 in Civil Aviation)

Well, it's 12 years later, i'm thinking there must quite a bit more now .
Okie dokie then, Cheers

I will tell you that back in 1998 or so (maybe 1999) I viewed the entire DB over the course of a week or two. That's how small it was.

Airliners.net receives roughly 1000 photos per day. For a list of crew, please take a look at this link and scroll down.

How many photos does A/net process.

As mentioned, generally a thousand images are uploaded each day. For today, that number will be almost exactly 1000, but yesterday for example, 1200 were uploaded.

In the past 24 hours, there have been roughly 1500 screening decisions. A decision might result in an image being added, rejected, or simply passed along to another screener.

In those same 24 hours, around 400 images have been added, and 600 rejected. Typically, the accepted/rejected ratio runs about 50/50, but as you can see there have been a few more rejections today.

On any given day, there are usually around 20-25 active screeners, averaging about 50 images screened per day, but there are a few who do considerably more, in the 200-300 images a day range.
