What's Happening In Birmingham, UK Right Now?

Hi folks. Just out in Birmingham (UK) city centre right now & there's lots of helicopter activity going on (counted 14 so far). They seem to be doing circuits of the centre & flying in loose formation. Are these police looking for someone / something? Anybody out there know? Thanks for any info.

They have a string quartet playing from helicopters as part of an opera. God knows what they were thinking, its been going for a few days now including the practice runs:
