I've just come back from Mallorca, where they had coke light. This tastes completely different from the diet coke you get in the UK. So is the taste of coke the same everywhere?

As for root beer, it tastes like an anticeptic ointment we get here called Germoline. No way will I drink it.

COCA-COLA! ALWAYS COCA-COLA. Pepsi is garbage (I think it's time to move Britney Spears into Storage at Mojave  Big grin ) and turns to water five minutes after you open it.

That exactly why I love Coca-Cola classic now. When I was much younger, my mom would ask "what do you want to drink" and I would answer "coke" as a blanket response to mean "soda". I always got Coca-cola because thats what they thought I ment. Now im addicted Smile

At home I prefer Coca-Cola . In the US Pepsi tastes better to me. Uh?
What I do not like at all are the No-Caffein or Light variants.

Any fans of Jolt Cola? I actually like it. I have never felt the benefit of the double caffine, but I don't mind a 20oz. of it now and then.

About five years ago, at the university orientation day here in Townsville, Virgin Cola had a tent with free Virgin Cola...they couldn't even give the stuff away to starving university students. IT'S FOUL!!!

I had Dr Pepper about 5 years ago in melbourne australia...it wasn't too nice either, tasted of cough syrup to me.

A & W Root Beer and Mountain Dew, unfortunately I can enjoy it only in the USA because it is not available here in Europe.

Here in Europe I like Orangina and Fanta.

A second on the Jolt! family of drinks. Those got me through my training at AirTran. As for Virgin Cola, they test marketed them here in Atlanta last year, and I quite liked them; I must have been the only one, because I haven't seen them anymore. My favorite drink is an obscure one call Dr. Enuf, a soft drink out of Tennessee. Another brand I like is Stewart's. Here is the website for Stewart's http://www.drinkstewarts.com Another oddball soft drink I've enjoyed is a line called Skeleteens Counter Culture Sodas. They have such flavors as Brainwash, Rat Bastard Root Beer, and several other bizarrely named sodas, they had great flavors, head one of them turned my tongue blue!

Can anyone tell me the name of the drink that you buy in the glass bottles, and the bottle has a picture of a wacky photo on the front, and all the bottles have different photos on them? I thought it was stewarts. What is the companys name?

38 Post contains images KROC : Mr. Pibb? Vanilla Coke is really good. I don't drink much pop, but I have been all over vanilla coke. Oh, and how can anyone drink Fanta or Shasta?
39 Post contains images RayChuang : I prefer Coke Classic and the new Pepsi Twist. As for Vanilla Coke, the taste akin to a mix of Coca-Cola and cream soda is something I don't care for.
40 Post contains images USAFJR : Hey... I drink shasta if thats all there is... its better than nothing. Mr. Pibb is like Dr. Pepper exept it has more cherry.
41 Ben88 : The soda in europe is better than here in the U.S. because they use sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup as a sweetner. Has anyone else noticed
42 KROC : I know Mr. Pibb and DP are the same, but I had no idea Cherry was a flavoring in either of them. Oh, and as far as Shasta goes. I would rather drink a

48 USAFJR : I'm not familiar with LIFT. Hey Northwest_guy... I meant to call this thread... "favorite soft drink" so pepsi will work.
