Seems the owners of DallasCowboys.com didn't pay up on a winning bid for the domain name cowboys.com, and now it's owned by a gay dating site!

So, are you "looking for a man to ride into the sunset"?

How 'bout them Cowboys? http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-sh...now-gay-dating-151057232--nfl.html

Bahaha

Had a similar incident many years ago (when the internet was new)...

Was in the study looking up car info, and accidentally typed crysler.com instead of chrysler. Up popped a bunch of naked ladies.

Best part is that my wife was in the kitchen cooking and could see the computer screen...I had to sit her down in my chair and get her to make the same mistake I did before she stopped picking on me.

That's okay, because the Cowboys are not a real football team.

They are a real football team - it's the refs that aren't real.

As for the site, whitehouse.com used to be a naughty site with naked ladies.

That's some further ammo for Giants fans who chant a certain word that rhymes with Romo at the Cowboys......

Looking at the addresses of all of the NFL teams, some are simply the team name, others are the city/state plus the team name. The website for the Tennessee Titans is www.titansonline.com but if you type www.tennesseetitans.com it takes you to the titansonline.com site.

If there's a tornado in Dallas, the safest place to be is Cowboys Stadium. There's never any touchdowns there.

I'd think Cowboys Stadium can be considered to be an artificial tornado: huge amounts of concentrated suckage!

The Dallas Cowboys has always made it very plain the name of the team, their web site, their marketing is:

"Dallas Cowboys"

The term Cowboys is too generic in Texas to use as a marketing tool.

The Whitehouse is a stripclub in Auckland, the brothel underneath was called/is Monica's.

I promise it wasn't on purpose...

...OK, that's a lie.

This reminds me of an Australian colleague of mine. There is a regulation in the U.S. in the line of business I work in that is called Regulation XXX (we normally talk about it just as XXX). A presentation that mentioned it once found its ways to the hands of the aforementioned Australian colleague and at the beginning he thought all the references to XXX or just a placeholder or code-name and whatnot, until a colleague of him who was more abreast of the issues explained to him that was the actual name of the topic. Curious to learn more, he decided to Google it at work. Let's just say he had a very interesting conversation with the good folks in the Compliance department...
