Well I know this is quite a bit of self-plugging, but FINALLY! I am 21 and can finally go out to bars in the US with my buddies. Most of my friends here in the states are over 21 so It's been very difficult hanging with people while in college.

Love me or hate me, I've survived the last 21 years...here's to another 100!

If any of the PHX based members are in Tempe tomorrow, I'll meet people on Mill to celebrate. PM me for details.

As for everyone else: How did you all spend your 21st birthday????

Not to piss on your fire, but I'm 20 and have been legally drinking for 2 years.

Have a few too many and enjoy yourself though. 21 is a biggie.

Though, drink responsibly. You have no reason whatsoever to drink a run-off-the-mill beer.

Still drunk?

I turned 21 in January, but that's not really anything special in Canada other than being able to go across the border and drink. I didn't get drunk that night, I went over to a friend's friend's house and smoked a vaporizer for my first time.

I didn't even get drunk on my 19th either. Why? Most of my friend's didn't want to because it was a school night.

Avoid hangovers, stay drunk.

You don't need to be 21 to hire a street walker.

On my 21st birthday, me & some friends went to the grocery store and bought a ton of booze and got in line at 11:59PM.
Transaction was rang up at 12:01AM. The cashier was laughing his arse off!
I was already drinking well before I turned 21 and getting in to clubs was never a big deal to me.

Totally hammered, bunch of college friends dragged me to a bar at 11:50 P.M and lined up shots with the bartender. When the clock struck 12. I had to down 2 shots and a beer. by 2:00 I had had 10 shots and about a pitcher of beer.

The next day was a saturday, and we all got together to watch the SEC and BIg 12 championships. It was the year Texas unexpectedly beat Nebraska and allowed Florida to get into the National Championship game for the 1st Florida National Championship. Of course Florida destroyed Alabama in that game. Wonderful dayfrom 12:00 till 11:59. Plus my college girlfriend had her own birthday presents .......

ahhh the good ole days.

Mill on your 21st birthday could be a bad idea, drinks will be following that is for sure. Just stay away from Fat Tuesdays, trust me.

On my 21st birthday I went to a bar right near my house, blacked out, and drank some more. Ever since that night I don't really drink much

Zach, next you will have to go to Vegas. A little warning though, Vegas gets quite addicting

Sometimes, the only way to learn is the hard way. Alcohol is one of those things where most of us need to get bit pretty hard in order to learn our lesson.

The secret to a 21st birthday is that the birthday boy's friends need to fill him up with booze just to the top. The art is to get as close to the top without spilling over (puking).

Remember, drink LOTS OF WATER. And bring condoms.

Me too, although I started drinking at 16, sigh...

I come from a long line of drinkers who lived in a drinkin' man's town.

Thankfully I've stopped drinking as of March of this year.

The first time I got drunk was at a dance that my parents and many of my friends were attending.

I had never hit my limit, so I didn't know what it was, and kept going.

Older teenagers were feeding me straight whiskey and vodka, and I was drinking it like water.

After a few too many trips to their table I passed out.

I woke up at home in bed with my shoes still on.

I presume my dad and my older brother had the honor of dragging my drunk ass up to bed.

My father's way of teaching me a lesson was to drag me to church 100% hungover.

I was so sick I drove with my head out the car window all the way.

But I spend a lot of time in Quebec, so bars weren't exactly new to me at 19 even though I now live in Ontario.

My father's way of teaching me a lesson was to drag me to church 100% hungover.

First time I ever had a hangover was when I was 17. My Dad's solution was to force me to down a Caeser (for the non-Canadians: Caeser (cocktail)) at 10 in the morning. I've never felt so nauseous in my life. I haven't had a Caeser since...
