Check out this Corvette based Cadillac.

7.5-liter all-aluminum, double-overhead cam four-valve Northstar XV12 engine generates 750 horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque.

That is impressive.  Wow!

Easy there Superfly... Lutz is still pretty tight lipped on the entire Cien project. The new Cadillac Roadster (forget what it is called) will be built on a stretched C6 Corvette platform, coming out in 04 I believe, but the Cien is still just a concept.

Cadillac did manage to get a running mule to LeMans to parade it next to the Northstar LeMans, which did so-so, but better than what most would have expected. At this point I'd say the Cadillac LeMans program has a better chance of being renewed than the Cien project.

Ditto what DesertJets said. I also read about that Cadillac coming out in 04. I believe it's called the XKR or something that sounds very Jaguarish. The Ciene doesn't use the C6 platform. At least I would highly doubt it. What Cadillac LeMans program are you referring to, DesertJets? I haven't read anything about it, but it sounds interesting.
Anyhow, that's my 2 cents worth.

Did you recently apply for a PR position at GM or what, Fly?

Planelover--- see the car next to the Cien that is the Cadillac Northstar LeMans... competes in the LMP900 class. This year's running of the 24 hours of LeMans was the car's 3rd year. And so far the results have been so-so. Even with an unbeatable Audi team, the Caddy hasn't been too competitive against the Bentley's and MG's, which both have considerably less financial backing than the Northstar.

But the Cien does have technology that will be showing up in other GM products, most notably a cylinder deactivation system... though a lot better and more reliable than the ill-fated Cadillac V8-6-4 engine. It'll most likely be showing up in the large trucks first, maybe the C6 Corvette and the Cadillac XKR.

Also rumor has it, this is from the July 1 issue of Autoweek, that a high-perf CTS will be coming out... fitted with an LS1 5.7l V8.
