Hope this is the correct forum for this. Could not decided between Non-Av and Civil-Av.

So...I have an interview with American Eagle Airlines on Nov. 8th in DFW, for an F/A position. Any and all advice on what to do/wear/say/eat/drink/etc. for the interview is greatly appreciated.

Tanks!

Dress in full suite and tie. Arrive ON TIME (if not early). Bring a notepad and pen. Smile, smile, smile. Be enthusistic and its all about the "passengers". Think of stories how you went above and beyond to help customers. Check out AE's history and have a few questions to ask. Think of a couple of questions in case other candates ask yours. Do not eat or drink anything during the interview. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Hey! I was a FA at Eagle for about a year. It's a group interview - extremely straight-forward. Sit in the middle of the pack so you do not have to answer the question first (or last) and try to make your answers better than the previous ones. If you get hired it's unpaid training but the meals and hotel is paid for. Reserve at Eagle for FA's is rough. You will always be extended - they are VERY short staffed. Most duty days run 12-13 hours with 8-10 hour layovers and be prepared for 4-6 flights a day. Makes it hard to enjoy the job at times. I left because I wasn't happy. Great people to work with for the most part (just don't let jaded pilot talk get to you). Commuting is great, you can get the extra jumpseAAts on AA if there are no AA FA's wAAiting for it.
