Looks like something big might be up in Syria.
Starting at 10:26 UTC (12:26pm in Damascus), Syria's international Internet connectivity shut down. In the global routing table, all 84 of Syria's IP address blocks have become unreachable, effectively removing the country from the Internet. http://www.renesys.com/blog/2012/11/syria-off-the-air.shtml

My dad flew out of Damascus with EK on Tuesday after spending the day in Damascus. It was relatively calm then. I have been trying to contact relatives in Damascus, but it certainly looks like all mobiles and landlines are down. I don't think either side is going to give up until the entire country is destroyed. Another sad day for the people of Syria.

Quoting 777way (Reply 6): Infighting amongst people of the same country never bothers me
So it's ok with you that 40,000 people have been killed in Syria because, hey, they're in the same country. I'm sure those 40,000 victims will be relieved that they didn't die because of an invasion.
