Elevator Prank Gone Too Far?

So who rides an elevator from time to time?

Honestly, I think they went a bit too far with this prank. I admit, it was funny to watch, but what if something had gone wrong? People were clearly *really* scared - albeit fortunately not to death.

Or do I say so because I am German (hence humorless)?

I saw it and thought it was a bit harsh. It's the sort of thing that really might give someone a nasty turn. Here is a slightly more benign one, which gives people a shock only for a second or two:

That's a seriously lame prank. Looks a little on the fake side too.

No matter how random things may appear, there's always a plan.

I liked this one. The first victim is pretty damned cute, too.

I am not sure if it is too far, but the prank works with the worst fears some people have. Being stucked in an elevator AND seeing a dead/ alive child appearing. Just like in a horror movie.
It looks like some people are REALLY scared. Especially when the kid is screaming

Nah, nothing to do with that - I guess

I first saw this over a week ago, and the first thing I thought was, "Man, they're lucky no one took a swing at the 'ghost' and she ended up seriously injured."

People know that you cannot hit a ghost, so I guess nobody took a swing

If this happened here in the states those elevator riders would chat up a lawyer and sue the folks behind this. Some thoughts; the next to last guy looked like Jay Leno with a purse. And, the last guy reminded me of a Brazilian Artie Lange.
And Superfly would love those ladies that were scared on the lift!

I wanted to know how that "ghost" was able to get in and out of the elevator unless the elevator itself was fake.
There usually isn't any room in the elevator shaft for a door on the reverse side of it. And the only time I have ever seen elevators that large have been in hospitals.

Agreed, pretty puerile. In the UK (and no doubt lots of places) you could sue for nervous shock. I would.
