First things first - a very happy new year to everyone!!
May the new year bring happiness and success in all forms.
So let's start this new year by sharing our new year's resolution. Mine's
" to workout a lot...no laziness, no excuses. I wanna look like a professional wrestler by the end of this year with no help from meds or protein powders, just with the help of good ol' veggies and meat"
I started a Facebook page for this very thing. My resolution is to donate $10 every month to a different cause. I am doing it because, while I believe fighting breast cancer is very important, there are other very important causes out there.

I need to be healthier, namely my diet. I already workout a lot, so that can't be my resolution, but I can definitely eat healthier than I do now.
A smaller, and equally as achievable, resolution is to have every penny of my student debt paid off (about CAD$9,000). I don't want to have any debt in 2014.
Not so much a resolution, but in the past three months I've given more time volunteering for various charities than I have in my previous 23 years combined. It's a great feeling knowing you're helping a good cause, and I want to continue this trend into 2013 as much as my schedule permits.

To lose as much as weight as I can, stop biting my nails and get a bloody better job than I have at the moment. My biggest resolution is not to let go of this most fantastic guy I met on vacation in LAS last October.

Let him go. Trust me. Guys you meet in LAS are not that great. A city more fake than Hollywood. Let him go.
Two more of my resolutions are to get my picture taken in front of every court house and capital in the world in this rediculous straw hat I have and to hear all the AM and FM radio stations I can. Those are all of my resolutions.

Get back into running (haven't run since a half marathon in early November because of a wicked cold and plain old laziness).
Show a little more patience with my children.
Make more time for family.
Increase charitable giving...time, talent and treasure.
Turn the other cheek more often.
Stop participating in A-Net gun control threads. I hate banging my head against the wall of fear, ignorance and emotion. I'll admit, this one will be hard to keep because I hate the spread of dis-information more than the head-banging.
Become more politically active.
Take more pictures.
Sit back and watch my kids grow-up.
Oh yes, one more: show more gratitude for what I have.

You shouldn't have too many new year resolutions because you never get any of them done. A few people have suggested to get fit and lose weight but without a target in mind I am not sure how you are going to get there.
I only have 2 New Years Resolutions.
1. Read stuff carefully before replying, especially emails or messages that can cause you some emotional stress. Always best just to sit on them for a few hours before replying.
2. A travel related one, travel on a 787.
