A promotional video created by the group reportedly included a scene in which FreedomWorks official Adam Brandon dreams that he's wandering down an office hallway when he sees the panda performing cunnilingus on someone in a Clinton mask.

Oh my.

It is almost too dumb to be believed. Yet I find myself not too surprised, and that is sad.

Hey, it's the Tea Party. Bunch of "Real Americans" wrapped up in the Flag spewing hate and working hard to cripple government.

Why be surprised that they come up with this level of pornographic crap?

Apparently this almost got show at a convention of the 'Freedom Party' (ie: freedom for the richest 1% and their friends) before some sane people stopped it. It takes a very sick mind to even conceive of this and I hope that this idiot is unemployed for a long time. It also hurts what little credibility this group has with the public.

I have almost suspected these tea party members and some other conservatives have some weird sexuality disorders and fantasies. I guess I was right then.

The TEA party, isn't really an official party. Anybody could get together and call themselves TEA party people. The same has happened in more left wing groups too. Any group of people could call themselves the Black Panthers if they wanted to. So when people say "The TEA party did this or that" they fail to recognize that it is a loose confederation of people who have similar, but not the same, philosophy.

the TEA party doesn't have a structure and hierarchy like the RNC and DNC.

Those people are co-opting the Tea Party brand, and thus it's incumbent upon whoever the Tea Party actually is to explicitly denounce such things and rein in those who are going off the message (whatever that message is) rather than blaming everyone else for not knowing who the "real" Tea Party is.

Though I can really see what falstaff (and Dreadnought) have been saying for years, I agree. I really did (and still do) support the original Tea Party movement, the one of fiscal responsibility and small government, the one that Dreadnought supports and I believe falstaff is talking about, but I see how the Tea Party image, despite what the original movement was about, has morphed. It really is a different brand now than it started out as, and just like the Occupy movement, it receives a lot of negative connotations and a negative image overall.

I was about to post on here saying that "so what, it's just one organization" but I do realize that the TP does have a negative image... it's sad, and it's been hijacked by some politicians that (IMO) don't embrace the original TP ideas, but that boat has sailed, and like it or not, I believe the TP does have a pretty tarnished image.

Don't really want to comment on the original content--it obviously is pretty stupid and unprofessional, but despite what I said, I don't contend that it represents most TP members...

There are some ideas the original TP I and many people could go along with. But, since they were hijacked by corporations, we gave up on them. My opinion is: corporations took over TP and forced right-wing politicians to go along with them "or else". And, now, they are a characature of what they once were.

Maybe... I saw it as a great idea but since it was only a few ideas without the rest of a complete platform, politicians had to fill in the blanks. So you end up with TP ideals mixed with other crap, and the crap stuck. Unfortunately, some of the "TP" candidates I see aren't even that fiscally responsible so all we are left with is just the crap lol

I think big corporations are just a part of politics, sadly. You have it on the left too, with big labor also meddling with things (not good labor, the bad stereotypical labor that most admit is present)
