The NHRA drag racing began the season at Pomona,Ca with a very scary crash in Top Fuel with last years Champion,Antron Brown.It was amazing that Brown walked away from the crash without a scratch.

In funny car,Courtney Force continue the Force family legend ways in winning the FC class event.BTW- Her sister began her career in Top Fuel So the John Force's daughters are making an impact in the sport.

I watched your link frame by frame, looks like blower drive issue causing the engine to hydraulic.
From normal engine to the first event frame one cylinder out dumping raw fuel, second frame all cylinders out dumping raw fuel, third frame "kaboom".
So with normal TV being 59.94 frames per second we will call it 60 divided by 3 frames equal 0.05 seconds from normal to boom.

Pretty amazing watching frame by frame.
